I am out of network with insurance companies, which means that insurance is not accepted at my practice. Unfortunately due to the restrictions insurance has placed on pelvic floor therapy services, I have chosen a private-pay practice to ensure I am able to serve my clients without restrictions on treatment, time I can spend with clients, and ultimately provide the best care possible.
No, packages are separate following your initial evaluation. Packages for follow-up visits are offered at a discounted rate when purchased in full at the time of booking your desired package. Packages do expire after 1 year.
There is no set timeline. This varies from woman to woman. However, for pregnant moms seeking pelvic floor therapy for labor & delivery prep, we will likely see each other monthly-biweekly throughout the first and second trimester, and gradually progress to biweekly-weekly (as needed) during the 3rd trimester. For postpartum moms, visits will vary.
Yes, we do accept HSA & FSA cards.
Children are always welcome! We have a cute little area for kiddos in our office with some toys and books. However, should you want to be completely attentive and take this time as “self-care” you can absolutely feel free to come alone. Totally up to you!
Yes! I highly recommend seeing me during pregnancy to prepare for labor and delivery, in addition to postpartum preparation for a smooth postpartum recovery.
It is recommended to visit around the 6-week postpartum mark, after being cleared by your provider. However, I do often see moms between the 2-6 week postpartum phase for safe and appropriate positioning, gentle pelvic floor and core support.
This is an in-depth in office pelvic floor evaluation where we will discuss your medical history & lifestyle, assess your core function, perform a breathing assessment, movement analysis, postural assessment, pelvic exam (if necessary), initial treatment with individualized home program.
