I am a New Jersey native, who migrated to Dallas, TX in 2018 to complete my clinical rotation at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation in Plano, TX. After completion of my final rotation, I graduated with my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Stockton University. I began practicing as an Occupational Therapist in 2019 where I began my mentorship and furthered my education in Pelvic Health and Pre/Postnatal Women. In 2020 when I had my first child, I experienced the benefits of Pelvic Floor Therapy and saw an extreme need and passion to begin my own company to better educate and help moms.
I provide one-on-one, evidence based care in the treatment of pregnancy/postpartum related pelvic floor dysfunction. But, I don't JUST treat the pelvic floor. I treat the entire momma, because I believe that in order to truly heal pelvic floor dysfunction long-term, a holistic approach is necessary in your treatment planning.
As a passionate mom, wife, & believer, I take pride in being able to use my gifts to serve others. Pregnant and Postpartum women are not educated nearly enough on the preventative techniques, resources, and services available to them, and I am here to change that!
At Mommas in Motion, we treat pelvic floor related dysfunction including pelvic pain, leaking/incontinence, prolapse, constipation, pain with intercourse, pain following or during pregnancy and postpartum.
Not sure where to start or what's even safe to do while pregnant or postpartum? Not a problem, we are here to help you take the safest and most appropriate steps to modifying and returning to exercise during this pivotal time.
Feeling overwhelmed after learning that you have abdominal separation? Are you unsure if you have abdominal separation? Well, Jemila is specialized to educate you on prevention techniques during pregnancy, and promote healing of DR postpartum.
